  Few in India knew maoist organization as any more than spontaneous acts of supposed revolution sans any political doctrine or instigation. Poverty, those who know it, knows its viciousness. It humbles people. Docaits  are different breed. These days maoists attack people as part of organization.

The press in USA, alleged to be incompetent and partisan, however  it gives more facts than press of any other nation on earth. I read national organization from the above LA times. This political lobbying organization has a budget of $75 millions - obviously financed indirectly from business who got favors or corruption of govt  money. It doesn't have to successful. But if $75 million can do it, then:

• Its consequence could be  that, it can lobby, use moderate threat, overwhelm standard political organization of individual elected officials to violate a political process to organization-cracy.
• The street organizers could be  'empowered'  so that they can divert the economic arguments, when, say  an economic bill needs to be passed. This is then no longer confined to politics, it affects and decides academic merit.

In essence Maoists do the same thing using rifles. National organization,  thus has strong negative influence.
